Friday Stan & I went to the duck farm with Chris & Phally, trucks of dirt were being delivered to raise the ground in the new duck house they built & so we needed to be there to help out, as on any farm there are many chores to help with, such as getting bags of rice chaff from the rice mill ( you fill them yourself) to make bedding for the duck houses & help soak up a bit of water ect. Gather eggs, wash the eggs, which is a job with over 1100 eggs!! The guys did lots of shoveling.... Phally & I went to the little market, for food & I realized they don't see many foreigners like me:) lots of staring, pally told them I speak Khmer to ask me something I instantly had several gather around trying to talk to me!! Lots of giggling ... Lol. Sorry pictures from this venture are in camera..
We are being immersed in Khmer living/culture & language with living with a large Khmer family. It's been good. This family is making a real effort on many levels trying to spread the gospel & help their people. There are many areas that could use a little help to encourage the good works being done, boosting the efforts of the Saints:)
Today (Sunday) we were introduced ourselves to the church family . And if you can believe it, sang a song in Khmer and then in English with Phally & Chris ...
A lady in the church has an amazing ministry with street children and several of them sang in church together
After lunch we went to visit her ministry to see what it's about, pretty impressed what 1 lady is accomplishing with the help of her niece. Can't wait to share more. Here are a few pictures .
Older kids bible study/worship

A real heart for God & the children.
