Praises!! and a view of our wanderings about Cambodia

WOW, Time Flies!! I just looked back to the last update, I had no idea that it was Jan. 22, so much time has gone by and so fast! We have been busy on the road a lot, Seed purchase trips, farm work and meetings, meetings, meetings!
The Lord is faithful :) we haven't had to many health issues, your basic cold, and a few minor tummy issues, but with the amount of travel and questionable eating situations its nothing short of God's hand on us to keep us healthy!!
We have been as far as Mondulkiri Province near the Vietnam border, on the east side of the country to Pursat Province 100 k. out a dirt road near the Thai border to the west side of the country the next week,
Chris Moore had to go back to US to take care of some things, Phally stayed with us, enjoyed going to the farm to see what it was like, it was fun to share that time with her:) She then went along with us, on a trip to the border near Poipet, meeting committee members that know Thai, we were meeting a truck from Thailand to get a Cracking machine, that a group of farmers in Somlot area were purchasing together, and we needed to go and purchase seed out there so we offered to bring it to them.  The farmers there were grateful. We took Phally home to Battambang on that trip.
Phally & I bought fish dinner from here, delicious !!
But the following week, I realized I had a task larger than I could accomplish without her help, so I called and asked her if she would Please come back and stay a few more days, and help me.
lunch in a small town where we picked up the cracking machine
Phally and I out exploring at the farm
I had to write a handbook, and handouts, in Khmer for the Representative's and farmers, its not perfect I am sure but its a start. I wrote instructions and how to grow, prune, fertilize etc Sacha Inchi, then Phally translated it to khmer then I put it together with pictures etc. I couldn't have done this without her. She was a tremendous help this past week to me. While Phally was helping me,
Stan and Pitchit were at the farm for the week. The General was there, So it proved to be an interesting week, the General was asking about Christianity, and Jesus, Stan and Pichit had the opportunity to share with him about Jesus.! Pichit, told the General that someday we should build a church at his farm! he just said "OK" :) we need to keep praying for the General and the farm workers!! what an amazing opportunity!

this is a root that a man we met out by farm, finished! he said he thinks he can sell for $8000!! to a fancy hotel in Siem Reap!
Along with meetings, we also were able to take time to visit with a few friends, While in Phnom Penh this week, Tonet & Sreylin with little Jofay, on Wednesday. Then lunch today friday, with Sopeak and Thoeun.  Good time catching up and sharing memories of the time we shared in Sovanapoom, they are doing well.! ( We were also able to hire Thouen to translate for our meetings, he did an excellent job!!) , Then this evening we had dinner and much catching up with Jandy:)
We had a good visit with Jandy, while in Phnom Penh
Lunch and visit with Tonet & Sreylin and little Jofey
Pitchit's first airplane ride:) heading to Phnom Penh for meeting
This past week Neal Creecy came for a visit and to make a plan/strategy to get the ground structure of this mission/business structured. Lots of challenges but we are making some headway.
This last 2 days we have been in Phnom Penh holding meetings with the people of which several are Khmer Pastors to update them on the issues the company has faced along with a basic plan and changes we are implementing. We have been praying and searching for team mates to help with this project because it is bigger than we can do, A week before Neal Creecy arrived we met a couple from Arizona, they have been in Cambodia 2 yrs studying language in Phnom Penh, and moved to Siem Reap a month ago, they attend Siem Reap fellowship. We actually missed a couple weeks of church due to trips out, we had gotten into town, and I saw that the Pastors wife was hosting a women's fellowship at her home, I felt strongly I should attend, I hadn't gone to any of the functions previously, so it was a stretch for me. But I went, and met Georgia there :). I think God, worked that meeting out! they seem to be a perfect, fit! they have strengths in the area's that we are a bit weak, and vice versa..
One of the many things we need to accomplish in the next 3 weeks is to find someone to set up in business of mobile seed cracking unit, to help out the farms by offering the service of cracking seed. We think this will be a great business opportunity for someone. if you are would like to help out with this. let us know, we think it should be like a grant, the person pays back so then someone else can be set up in business. this is a brief explanation. We have about 30,000kilo of un-cracked seed to purchase, and that will keep growing !! but we really can't buy it un-cracked anymore, freight is gonna kill us, so we are trying to figure out a solution to help the farmers crack their seed without everyone having to buy a machine. any ideas let us know!
The following are pictures from our meeting this week in Phnom Penh and our trips this past few weeks. Any questions about what we are up to feel free to email us at stanadam81@yahoo.com or Facebook messenger works great also.
