First I want to apologize for not keeping up on updates very well seems like daily life keeps us busy and I don't realize how much time has slipped by!! this update may seem a bit backwards as I go back thru time so I don't forget anything....
God is good:) still answering prayers, It is so comforting to know we an count on HIM!! from the big things to the smallest things we can know that He CARES for us and our desires. We just have to ask...
We just returned from attending our first Cambodian Birthday party, Tonet and Srelyin invited us to go along with them it was just down the street.. the lady who we buy chicken from at the market was having a big party for her little boy, catered dinner, loud music, and later dancing ( I hear)  and all! seemed like most of the village was there all dressed up. the cake was tall and very pretty. Some of the food looked a bit strange but everything we tasted was good, ( hopefully it is good to us! ) So frustrated I didn't bring my camera along:(
This past week John, Tree and Bong went to the farm to do concrete work on the water tower, They returned today, and will be going back soon for the next stage of cement work, it needs to be done in stages.  The week before Stan,  John and Tree were at the farm for a week working on getting the water tower steel work done, some jack stands built and the foundation ready for the concrete. We appreciate your prayers as they travel back and forth, its not a safe trip, it seems like a long game of chicken, traveling on the hiways here!!

This past week during evening worship, Tonet told the kids to be reading something and be ready to tell about the story for a special game. So Thursday night Tonet had us help with the special night , we gave each one of them a candle and sat in a circle and turned all the lights off and told about our stories, the kids loved IT!! some of the youngest boys who are always kinda wild, made me wonder how this was going to go!! Took their job very seriously!
I always enjoy the evening worship time with the kids, Its all in Khmer, but I will ask sometimes what Tonet is teaching on and the kids are always willing to clue me and Stan in. Its when the littlest kids love to snuggle.:)

Keeping up with school, sewing and daily life with kids, also for the guys maintenance on equipment for water pumping, generator ect. all are daily chores that need done that keep us all busy.
Going to the river to pump water is an interesting venture, a time to interact with the locals, sometimes good sometimes not... as sometimes we wash there home out when the pipes come apart!!

1st grade Khmer class

2nd grade ( I think)
The kids got a hold of my camera and magnifier glasses and Stans shop magnifier's ( which are essential to thread the overlock machine!! ) and had a bit of fun:)

This coming week we will be joined by Our friends from Christmas Valley Community Church for a week:) we will have a bit of Bible stories, learning new songs and crafts during the afternoons, The kids are excited for the "team" to arrive!!  also on January 21st Dustin and Kristine Peterson will present the Sunday morning worship service, pray for all those in attendance and for Dustin and Kristine that God will be glorified thru them !!
