Its Sunday again! Wow the week has flown by!! This week I was busy making sure the sewing machines were working good, With Stan's help they are all running good.. started sewing lessons, the girls are making nightgown and the boys are making pj pants, a bit of an undertaking for the beginner sewers but with a bit of help are doing pretty good. I have 7 young girls and 10 boys on my sewing schedule at this time but a few more younger ones are waiting to learn also, So soon as I get to Phnom Penh for supplies will have them start on a easy project:) Betty expresssed a desire to sew also, on Saturday I put her to work learning, by helping me sew shorts for the little girls:) I also have little knitters started knitting again:
Stan and I worked on getting the kids English school organized again, figuring out what Paces they are in and helping them with their school time. Takes me back in time to homeschooling days!!
Thursday we had a bit of excitement in he dining area!! Sreylin yelled snake!, snake!, Richard (missionary from Papua New Guneia) was near and grabbed the plastic broom, tried to stop it, One of the big boys came and grabbed a big metal squeegee and got it pinned down while Richard beat it with the broom! I was with Ra in the kitchen helping make lunch... Quite the sight! they said it was a Cobra, I so wished I would have had my camera, when they were trying to get it, it would rear its head up. I'm so glad it wasn't during a meal time!! these snakes can be deadly if you get bit!

| cooking lessons, Omeletes, looking good:) |
On Friday morning we went into Phnom Penh to get our visa extended and found out they sold us the wrong one at the airport when we arrived here, the one they sold us you can't extend, I told the man at the airport what I needed, but he said No I needed the Tourist Visa.... wrong, so now we have to leave the country and re-purchase the correct visa, So I will be making a trip to the farm with the guys! we can cross to Thailand at Poipet the border crossing near the farm, and re-enter. I think we will be doing this sometime this week. Pray all goes smoothly, and safety in travels!
Saturday morning I went to Sopeak's sewing shop and had a nice visit with her and Thouen. She asked if I would help her make curtains, since she hasn't done that before. Sopeak and Sreyvin were working on little girls dresses that they will send to Australia to sell.

This afternoon Stan & I enjoyed a fun moto ride around the area with Tonet and Sreylin, They took us to meet Tonets family. We had a wonderful visit, practicing our understanding & conversing in Khmer!! Tonets mom handed Stan a hymn book in khmer for him to learn a song, ( I think she thought he could read Khmer! So she taught it to him, telling him "don't forget it" :) They are a wonderful Christian family, enjoying serving Jesus, helping out their neighbors and telling them about God whenever they get a chance!! Tonets mom served us a fried banana cake that was delicious:) and gave us a mangoe.
