Monday thru Thursday's we spend at the farm and Friday thru Sunday in Siem Reap. Sometimes, Mondays get used up with unexpected such as tomorrow - Monday we have to make a fast Phnom Penh trip to get Passport issues taken care of at the Embassy, You might pray that it goes well! Stan didn't have enough pages to get a new visa extension :( I figured he did, I figured wrong!! I guess there is a minimum of pages you have to have :/.
Now that you know the current issue at hand, lets back up a bit to whats been happening here, since our last blog update. Thankfully, it hasn't been over the top with exciting things like scary accidents!
We got ourselves some good tracts in khmer they are like a mini book, that explains the gospel in Khmer.! they have been very nice to have, to share / handout to people we meet, since we aren't good enough with the language to explain it yet, they can read, and if they have questions we and Pichit can help them understand. A few weeks ago we were on our way back from the farm, and stopped to get gas, and a lady with a baby asked for a ride to Siem Reap. Captive audience! Pichit shared the gospel, asked her if she knew who created the earth, and then started reading the Bible starting in Genesis, for the 2 hrs she was with us! she had questions and they had good discussion.
On another trip, we had a young lady wave us down asking for a ride, she was having husband troubles, Pichet was able to share with her also, and exchanged phone numbers in case she needed help. She didn't have quite so far to go, so we didn't have a lot of time with her.

Our next door neighbors, the mom of the family was in a bad accident hurt her foot real bad, she had to go to Bangkok for an operation on it, we have been witnessing to them, Phally has talked to them a lot, when she has been here visiting, Pichit has talked to them about the Lord also, We feel that they are thinking a lot about it, The mom who got hurt mentioned how God helped her when she had accident. Pray for Salvation for the family! Its 3 generation family living there.
by the things that have gone on there, we know there is some demonic oppression there, Pray with us, for release of Satan's hold on them.

Sokry from Battambang, was able to come spend a few days with us, we had a great time with her, she is a very humble, sincere young lady who is so grateful for everything that has been done to help with the " Family ministry", she works with Vondy, we also took her to the farm, I was happy she was able to meet the kids there! give me her perspective on what I can do to help teach them, since she does that full time at Vondy's ministry.
When we took her home to Battambang, we enjoyed meeting with Phally and Chris and the family, and enjoying worshiping together on Sunday, then helping out, and spending the Sunday afternoon with Vondy and Sokry and their kids ministry.:)
The kids out at our farm project, haven't any opportunities for learning, so there is much we can teach them! A couple weeks ago we ( Pichit and I) held class on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. we had 6 kids, ages from 4-19, we taught some Khmer, alphabet writing and sounds, a little of the English alphabet & a few words, and then a Bible lesson, Pichit introduced who Jesus is. this last week, I started with Creation, since anyone you ask, has know idea about the creation of the world, its just always been here. They all were excited to have class! the 19 yr old mainly wants to learn English, which is fine. I'm looking forward to getting back up there to meet with them again! I have a feeling its going to grow... This past week we had 11 kids! They are so eager!! They are at our room at 6:30am waiting!!

I've kinda become the "farm nurse" the workers, have started coming to me with headache, tummy trouble, toothache, injuries etc. I'm happy about that, shows they are trusting us more, learning that we really do care about them. gives opportunity to try my khmer.:/ , Speaking of trying to speak Khmer. we have found a tutor here in Siem Reap, who is willing to be flexible and work with our schedule. :) we have met with her 3 days a week for the past 2 weeks, and will continue that schedule, when in Siem Reap. She has been great :) We also bought a white board, and so once in a while we get Pichit to help out with our language learning. hopefully we will start progressing a bit faster!!
Stan finished his Seed Cleaning machine he started before we came home last Spring, and purchased some parts for it. It has worked really well, we took it to the farm a couple weeks ago, it has a lot of work to do, we are hoping along with recovering seed from the waste, over 20% of the trash pile of hulls from the cracking machine is seed, and we are also hoping we can market the hulls to someone. The people are making tea out of them, boiling them. anyway it maybe a way to help cover the expenses a bit if we could find a buyer!
Lots of work waiting for seed cleaner machine, our test run, showed us over 23% of this is seed!

We saw this car, on the way to the farm, it's a missionary from Japan broadcasting the bible being read!
Hauling the seed machine to the farm.
Stan has been able to attend the Mens breakfast fellowship time on Friday mornings, now that we have somewhat of a routine, Its been good, he is able to hear and learn from other men who have been serving here in different types of ministry, sharing their struggles and successes, gaining insight and perspective of what our future ministry may look like.
