Weekend filled with visits

Stan and I spent Saturday visiting Sovanapoom we were warmly welcomed by John & Tess and Ra and the kids. We met Seena & Tree new baby girl Rose, she is 5months old, and absolutely adorable.
I had a nice visit with Ra, she has diabetes quite badly when she went to the hospital last month her blood sugar was over 450! She has test kit and medication so hopefully she will keep it under control!
John showed Stan his new hydroponics/fish farm ideas and tanks he is building, looks interesting , I wasn't in on the main conversation so you will have to ask Stan for details. They have been busy rebuilding the boys room , ect. Look is good.

Sunday we went to church with Tonets family, we went over a little early to visit and were pleased to be able to visit with Lakina and little Nita:)

We also met Tonet & Sreylins newest baby who is now 1 yr "jofay" cute, a little shy to us "strangers"

Church service was good, and Sreylin made us a delicious lunch of shrimp Tom yam and green bean dish,  Tonets parents joined us for a nice visit after church.  Tonet than took us to visit the headmaster from sovanapoom, widow, 2 of her daughters that were teachers there came by and visited us. She seemed pleased that we stopped by.
Sunday evening we picked up sreyleark & met Debbie & Nigel at Ramdeng for dinner, Sokim also met up with us there. A nice time catching up.

"New adventures" Ahead!!

July 20th    We are excited to see what God has in store for us during this trip to Cambodia....
We fly out Tuesday  evening, July 22 out of Redmond via Seattle leaving, Seattle at 2am, on to Taipai Taiwan, then on to Phnom Penh Cambodia, scheduled to arrive on Thursday at 11:30am, our friend Dave Hall, has offered to pick us up at the airport and let us rest up for a couple days with their family. While we make plans.
July 24th Today, as we were waiting in Taipei Taiwan,  we saw on the news a small passenger plane wrecked trying to land this morning at an airport on one of the small out lying islands. They say it was because of the typhoon storm that hit that side of Taiwan , 45 or more people died :( . Pray for the families. While waiting Stan & I had fun visiting with the Khmer people that were  waiting also.. They had some good laughs at the language attempts :)
Our God is good ! I woke up early Tuesday am with a severe headache... Couldn't seem to get rid of it no matter what I took, I thought this is going to be an enjoyable trip,,.. (Not). But shortly after boarding the plane in Seattle ( about 3am Wednesday ) it went away:)) the rest of the trip was good, my back didn't even bother me!! Oh, I realized when the stewardess handing visa application... That I forgot to get visa pictures taken !! I spent the rest of that last flight praying it wouldn't be a big  deal!!! At the visa counter they asked for the pictures I just said we forgot them, so they wanted $4.00 , no problem , thank you Jesus!
David Hall picked us up from airport, brought us to their home, we have had a nice relaxing time visiting & playing games with their 4 boys.
